AGM 2019

Thanks to everyone who made it to our AGM on Monday 11th February. With nearly 50 people in attendance, it was a great chance to set out our plans for the years and report on progress in 2018. Though 2018 had its frustrations - blue-green algae being the main one - it was nevertheless a good year and we ran 507 sessions involving 1,186 sailors and 917 carers. We also managed three special trips - two to the Walton Backwaters and one to the Tidemill Yacht Harbour on the River Deben. Many thanks to Titchmarsh Marina and Tidemill Yacht Harbour for hosting us.
For 2019 we plan to extend these trips and stay for a longer period at each of these venues and also Shotley Marina. We hope you will be able to join us on these trips. Full details are available through our new website.
You may also have noticed that we have updated our website. You will now be able to manage all your own information through the website and you will be able to book sailing sessions online. You can also view all your bookings and a full events calendar through the new system. We will also be using this system to mail all members and provide you with full information about our activities, so do make sure to log in and sign up for our mailing lists.
