OUR TEAM
IAN HAMMOND
My role within the Woolverstone Project is quite simply as the name implies - Project Co-ordinator! It will be me whom you will contact to arrange your sailing booking, dealing with all the necessary paperwork and trying to keep Peter in order.
My love of the water was first instilled in my youth as a Sea Scout in the 4th Surbition (Ajax) Sea Scouts hailing by the nickname of "Squib", sailing 505's off the Norfolk coast, building a dingy in the garage and now as part of the team at the Project. I first came to hear about the work at Alton Water from a fellow member of Bury St Edmunds MS Society several years ago. My wife suffers from MS and I thought it would be good to get her out on the water with folk who understood disabilities. One thing led to another and as they say "the rest is history"
