WHAT SAILING CRAFT DO WE USE?

At Woolverstone

a 6.63m Drascombe Longboat, which holds six sailors plus instructors;

and a 6.10m Hawk 20, which holds four sailors plus instructors.

At Alton Water

Eight Access 3.03 "double-handers". These are specially designed to be safe and fun for people with a wide range of disabilities. They take a sailor and an instructor. They also make good racing boats;

Seven Access 2.3 dinghies. These are the ideal single handed boat, with the same design features as the larger Access;

Four Challenger Trimarans (boats with three hulls) which hold one sailor and an instructor if needed. These are fun and fast;

We also have an Otter and 2 Safety RIBS.
All these boats are specially designed to be easy to use and are extremely stable. We also have access to other craft should the need arise. Unfortunately, none of our boats can take wheelchairs on board.
